Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand path.
"After the surprising success of the first A Quiet Place movie, filmmaker and actor John Krasinski (known for his character in The Office) returns to the apocalyptic universe he created. In A Quiet Place Part II we follow the immediate aftermath of what we saw in the first chapter - although Krasinski digs up a space, right at the beginning of the movie, to participate in a breathtaking scene at the start of the sound-seeking alien invasion. Unfortunately, there is not the same strength and originality that we saw before. After all, the filmmaker does not find ways to surprise us as he did when presenting this devastated world, in silence. It can even be questioned if a continuation was really necessary. However, A Quiet Place Part II has its merits. It's honest and unpretentious entertainment, serving as good escapim. Time es quickly as we watch and the movie reserves some good scares. The children are as annoying as ever and Emily Blunt is more contained than in the first movie. But in the end, the fun is guaranteed with this journey of this family trying to survive and escape from the creatures –and now, with Cillian Murphy also complementing the cast, with an interesting character."
