Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle

"Famous for his motion capture performances in characters such as Gollum (in The Lord of the Rings franchise) and Caesar (in Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Andy Serkis embarks on his most ambitious project yet as a director: an adaptation of the classic The Jungle Book. To do so, he put together a star-studded cast, including well-known names such as Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Naomie Harris, as well as himself. With jaw-dropping special effects, this version of the adventures of little Mowgli is darker than the classic Disney animation, or even the more recent adaptation by Jon Favreau. Nevertheless, it is an interesting movie, with a message about nature protection that is becoming increasingly relevant."
