Tremors

"From the same director and screenwriter of the political horror 'A Chorona', Jayro Bustamante, 'Temblores' tells the story of a married man, father of two children, conservative and evangelical who ends up romantically involved with another man. The narrative is undoubtedly relevant, weaving criticism about how certain religions deal with homosexuality. Perhaps the way things are portrayed deserved more care, however, it is possible to understand the director's intention to leave the viewer to interpret the plot as desired. The production has great performances and is very well built."
