Hancock is a superhero whose ill-considered behavior regularly causes damage in the millions. He changes when the person he saves helps him improve his public image.
"Before we were enchanted by Wakanda and "Black Panther," the cinema knew another type of African-American hero. Far from the glamour of T'Challa, Hancock portrays a more mocking image of someone with powers (and very real problems). Will Smith makes a beautiful caricature of a character that was not inspired by comics - like most superheroes. Unfortunately, the production did not fall into the taste of the public, but it is still good and makes interesting criticism of society, and also of deification. The movie even makes a parallel with racial prejudice, showing a black hero as an unsuccessful alcoholic."
